What Is 24-Hour Blood Pressure Monitoring?
Unlike a standard blood pressure check that provides a single reading, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring allows for continuous tracking of your blood pressure throughout the day and night. This method offers a more comprehensive picture of your heart health and helps identify issues like hypertension or abnormal blood pressure patterns that might go unnoticed with a one-off reading.
How Does It Work?
Initial Consultation: When you visit one of our participating locations, our friendly staff will fit you with a small, portable blood pressure monitor. This device will automatically take your blood pressure at regular intervals over the next 24 hours.
Go About Your Day: Once fitted with the monitor, you can carry on with your daily activities and even wear it while you sleep. The goal is to capture a wide range of readings to get the most accurate results.
Detailed Medical Report: After the 24 hours, simply return the monitor, and we will generate a standardised report. This report can be shared directly with your GP or consultant, providing them with valuable insights for your health management.
